This workshop establishes an understanding of standard precautions commonly encountered in a healthcare setting, introduce radiological terminology and testing

procedures and provides structured feedback in the practice of interpreting skills wearing protective clothing.

 

Upon completing this workshop interpreters will be able to:

1. Describe and explain environmental symbols

2. Compare and contract radiological testing procedures and protocols

3. Demonstrate effective interpreting techniques while wearing protective equipment
