Friday, April 30Honored Video Celebrates Teen
Two YHSC students from the Norwich Free Academy were featured in a photo and article in the April 30, 2010 edition of The Norwich Bulletin for their dedication to raising awareness of "the importance of automatic external defibrillators and cardiopulmonary resuscitation in increasing the chances of survival for victims of sudden cardiac arrest."
Matt Giannelli and Matt Lavalle are also Gold Level Presidential Service Award winners for 2010. In order to be considered for the honor, a student must complete at least 300 hours of community service over the course of a year. Giannelli and Lavallee are the first Gold Level winners from the eastern Connecticut YHSC.
